I would like to introduce you to the LTC POWER LAWYERS, LLC, a one-of-a-kind, innovative educational program designed specifically to train young lawyers in the intricacies of long-term-care trial practice.  Since the mid 1990s, long-term-care litigation has exploded across the legal landscape of the United States.  This complex litigation is a niche unlike any other and the stakes are high.  Your clients not only need experienced trial lawyers who are up to the task in the courtroom today, but they need to know your firm is building a strong team of trial-ready lawyers that will be able to represent them in the years to come.

The LTC Power Lawyers Program consist of two eight hour day long sessions where our students interact with an esteemed faculty of seasoned trial lawyers all with at least 15 years of experience in this area of the law.  The students work on practical trial skills and video tape one another, while taking instruction from faculty members as they hone their skills.  Perhaps even more importantly is the two eight hour training sessions take place in conjunction with The Long-Term Care Risk Legal Committee meetings allowing the students an abundance of opportunities to network with in-house counsel, risk management, compliance and insurance professionals from all across the long-term care spectrum.  Also included in the curriculum are 5 one hour webinars taught by our same faculty along with in-house counsel and insurance professionals in the industry.

In August 2018 we graduated the Second Class of the LTC Power Lawyers at a ceremony in Chicago, IL.  We are currently accepting nominations for the next class!
