Grinnell nursing home to pay $75000

A Grinnell nursing home where a resident lost a leg to gangrene will
pay more than $75,000 to settle allegations of resident neglect.

Federal
officials fined Friendship Manor $101,250 last fall, after the resident
died. It was one of the largest fines ever imposed against an Iowa
nursing home.
