Bernstein v Extendicare Health Services

In this class action suit, plaintiffs asserted that Defendant nursing home, Extendicare, had violated numerous Minnesota statutes by making false representations regarding the quality of care provided. Plaintiffs also alleged that Extendicare’s admission policies led to substandard care and that Medicare patients’ care was particularly poor. The matter was dismissed in summary judgment motion, attached. Also see post for Howard Steele v. Extendicare.
