Subject Matter: Restrictions on The Use of Survey Results in Advertisements
The attached Arkansas statute recently passed putting restrictions on the way in which a plaintiff’s lawyer can use state survey results in advertisements. The goal, it appears is to give the public a clearer picture of when the survey took place, whether a plan of correction was submitted and approved and whether the deficiencies were ultimately cleared. It also requires a statement that the ad was not sanctioned by the state government or any of it agencies.
Importantly these items must be in the same size font as the ad itself.
